Eric Hosmer is an American professional baseball player. He is a baseball first baseman for the San Diego Padres of Major League Baseball.
From 2011 to 2017, Holmer played for the Kansas City Royals. He is the winner of the All-Star in the year 2016.

Hosmer signed a contract with Royals to Minor League Baseball with the Idaho Falls Chukars of the rookie-level Pioneer League. Similarly, in his first full season in the minor leagues, he was assigned to the Burlington Bees in the Class A Midwest League.
During the end of the season, he hit .241 with six home runs. Likewise, Eric played in the 2010 All-Star Futures Game and was promoted to the Northwest Arkansas Naturals.
Kansas City Royals
On 5th May 2011, he was recalled by the Royals. He made his first MLB debut against Oakland Athletics starter Gio Gonzalez. In 2016, his batting average was .266 and in 2017, it was a .318 batting average.
