Tollywood’s leading producer Dil Raju completed 20 years in the film industry as a producer, and he met Gulte.com’s Lokesh Bandi on this occasion to share some interesting stuff. While we haven’t tabulated his journey, we tried to understand his thought process that actually goes into making a movie.
It starts with Dil Raju explaining what it takes to stay fit and look slim at the age of 52 years.
He then explained why he has never done another film with the directors of his first three films, Vinayak, Sukumar and Boyapati, while saying that he is teaming up with the last two, soon. Also, the producer explained what nepotism actually is, and how it would apply to his nephew Aasish Reddy or any other star kids.
Also, the star director explained why he chooses to tell stories related to dis-oriented families as shown in movies like Bommarillu, Satamanam Bhavati and Balagam. He gave away an important announcement about his wife Vygha Reddy’s foray into Bollywood through production ventures.
It then comes to the producer explaining about the ‘Aa Naluguru’ thing and why he didn’t contest as President of the Telugu Film Producers Council rather than just being an EC member. Also, he answered about the way trolls treat him due to his Varasudu speech but said that they are just 0.0001% of people targeting him, and it won’t affect in any way.
He then concluded the interview by explaining his future projects including Ram Charan’s Game Changer, Parasuram-Vijay Devarakonda’s movie, VFX projects and a Tamil film.
