Ceile Faulkner Obituary – We were in Arkansas Hospice on the seventh floor of St. Vincent on Wednesday afternoon, October 18, when Jesus appeared. He wrapped his healing hands around CEILE ERWIN FAULKNER and whispered aloud, “I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise.” He drove her home at 3:12. God bless you. Ceile’s adventure began on April 30, 1952, in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Will B. Erwin and Marie Carpenter Erwin were her parents. She went to Pulaski Heights Elementary and then to Pulaski Heights Junior High. She was a Panthers cheerleader in junior high and vice president of the student council in ninth grade. She attended LR Hall High School and was a Cheer-o-kee, Homeroom President, and member of the Homecoming Court.

In the fall of 1970, she enrolled at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where she resided at Fulbright and began a lifelong process of making new friends. In her sophomore year, she joined the Arkansas Alpha chapter of Pi Beta Phi, where she is now an active and devoted member. She earned a degree in Elementary Education and returned to her hometown of Little Rock to teach second grade at Miss Selma’s School. In June 1976, she married Jimmy Faulkner, the luckiest guy in the world, with whom she had three children:

Will, Lizzy, and Mary Margaret (Boogie). She removed her teaching hat and replaced it with her Mother hat. She was an active participant in all of the activities in which her family was involved. Ceile was always there, with her cheery encouragement and love, whether she was Room Mom at Gibbs or President of the PTA at Williams Magnet, getting ready for dance recitals and church concerts, sporting activities and so many more.
