As of now, the Romanian courts have decided to extend house arrest for Andrew and his brother Tristan Tate as they face human trafficking charges. Amid this high-profile case playing out, a Grindr leak containing X-rated and NSFW (Not Safe For Work) content involving Andrew Tate has ignited a contentious discussion on social media. On Sunday, July 23, several nude images of Tate circulated online, appearing to be from a leaked Grindr direct message. However, the explicit pictures were swiftly removed from the platform.
Right after the images went viral across social media, users were quick in raising doubts about whether the images, showing Tate in a provocative pose on Grindr — a dating app popularly used by gay men for hookups, was was real or faked.
'Deepfake or real?'
As Tate has never shied away from expressing his opinions against the LGBT community, his leaked pictures from Grindr, an app exclusively for the LGBT community had the internet divided. Wondering whether the images were real or not, a user on Reddit wrote, “Deepfake or real?”, while another user wrote, “It would be funny as f**k and not one bit surprising. LMAO. But, he wouldn't be this dumb actually."
